Advertising

Advertising tab allows you to advertise to Loving My Customers end-users using rich ad units. In order for your partners to create advertising, first, they must buy advertising impressions as explained. Advertising impressions can be bought during registration or later inside My account page.

Advertising consists of:

  • Ads (your ad visual material) and
  • Ad Campaigns (how long will you campaign last, who will receive ads, etc.)
  • Packages

Ads

Ad helps you define how your advertising will be presented to the end users. Ads exist within ad campaigns. You can use your ad inside multiple ad campaigns (e.g. if you want to reuse your marketing materials for a new ad campaign). An Ad is active and visible to the end users only when it belongs to a campaign. Once you create an ad and it gets approved by the tenant, create a new campaign or edit existing one and add an ad to it so it becomes active.

Every ad must be approved by Tenant. You will not be able to add the ad to a campaign until it gets approved.

Campaigns

Click on create an ad campaign to show your ads to Loving My Customers users. Ad campaign consists out of 4 steps.

Step 1 – Campaign details

On this step, you are asked to name your campaign, enter a description (for internal use) and import existing or create new ads (campaign assets such as images and videos as explained above).

Visit section above to see how to create and set-up new ads or click Import to add already created ads.

Once you add ads to the campaign, you will be asked to provide the impression goal. Your impression goal cannot be bigger than the number of available impressions (place your cursor on to see the number of available impressions). A number of available impressions can also be found in the Accounts tab within Advertising.

Once you add impression goal to the ad, the number of available impressions will be reduced (your impression goal acts as a reservation thus reducing available impression amount).

Notice: partners have limited impressions based on how many impressions they bought, while tenant has an unlimited amount of impressions.

Step 2 – Timeframe

Set start date

Specify when do you want to start your ad campaign. If you choose to skip this step, your ad campaign will start as soon as Tenant approve your ads.

Notice: Once you set start date, you will be able to change entered values only while ad campaign is in Draft mode. Once an ad campaign is published, you will not be able to edit entered values again.

Set end date

Specify the date and time from which your ads will not be visible to the end users. Once end date and time has been reached, the ad campaign will change status to Finished and will be archived in the system.

Step 3 – Target

Use this step to show ads only to the specific end users. You can target users across multiple applications, target users based on their age, gender and location or device. You can also choose to show ads only on specific days of the week or period of the day.

Step 4 – Preview and create

The last step shows a preview of your inputs. You can go back and change inputs, save ad campaign as a draft or create it (send ads to the Tenant for approval).
